Low clouds remained in the area for the final World Endurance Cup practice, but the track was dry. Times improved appreciably from yesterday afternoon’s session. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of COTA – Rain delays Practice 2, Toyota turns fastest lap

The heavy weather that had been in the area all day finally hit right as the second practice session for the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas was about to begin. The start of the session was delayed from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with the course red flagged about 15 min in. FIA WEC: Extreme Speed to make series debut at Circuit of the Americas

Extreme Speed Motorsports (ESM) will be making its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at Circuit of the Americas this weekend. After a 3-month pause in the FIA World Endurance Championship, G-Drive Racing comes to Austin, Tex., with new wheels underneath them.
